Groupe Bogart continues on its acquisition tear, announcing they have signed a contract for the acquisition of Slovakian perfumery chain FAnn.

WHO: Founded in 1993, FAnn has become the number-one selective perfumery chain in Slovakia, operating 70 perfumeries and an e-shop.

Groupe Bogart specializes in the creation, manufacture, and commercialization of luxury fragrances and cosmetics. With a unique market positioning as a manufacturer-distributor, the group markets its products in more than 90 countries. Bogart has created fragrance and cosmetic products since 1975. The group is also the owner of iconic beauty brands in Europe and the Middle East, including April, Planet Parfum, Milady, and HC Parfümerie.

WHY: The deal expands Bogart's footprint into a seventh country. The group operates stores in France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Israel, and the United Arab Emirates, for a total of 413 doors.

• Groupe Bogart acquired 41 Nocibé perfumeries in France from Douglas in June 2021. The deal doubled the size of the family-owned French network, which now has 71 sales outlets, expanding the group's geographical coverage to include 35 new towns and cities including Paris.
• In H1 2021, Bogart generated revenue of €101.8 million, equivalent to a 22.6% rise, and its direct retail business, with the April chain, was worth €85 million, up by 4.7%.
• In 2015, the group purchased 23 perfumeries by April SAS, a wholly owned subsidiary created in late 2014.
• In 2016, there was a 100% acquisition of the HC Parfümerie Group, a major distributor in Germany, with a network of 87 stores.
• In 2018, Groupe Bogart acquired Distriplus Group, a leading retailer in Belgium with a network of 200 sales outlets.
• In 2019, the group purchased 18 selective stores in Luxembourg belonging to Milady parfumerie network.
